After adaptation work has been identified:
When our contractor(s) receive an order from WNWhL they will complete the work within 60 working days.
As part of the work we will:
discuss and design the works you require;
ask you to sign all relavant paperwork, including informing us of means of access to your property and your individual needs;
offer you a choice of finishes (tiles / flooring etc);
install the work identified (wet floor shower, external ramp, adapted kitchen, stair lift etc);
contact you on a daily basis to keep you informed of progress;
check the work on completion;
explain how to use your equipment, and leave the appropriate instructions / information;
ask you to complete a customer satisfaction questionnaire.
How will this affect you?
As with all major improvements, there will be some disruption, this will include an element of mess and noise. Our aim is to minimise this disruption to you as much as possible.
We need your cooperation to make sure the work runs as smoothly as possible. Any children and pets should be kept away from the work area for both their own and our operatives' safety.
The team of surveyors and fitters are always happy to answer any queries you may have in regards to the work being carried out.
Prior to our contractors arriving at your home and work beginning, where possible and appropriate, personal belongings need removing from the proposed work areas (normally the kitchen and /or bathroom). Items you should remove would include crockery, food, utensils, curtains, rugs, personnel toiletries and other belongings including free standing furniture.
If you are unable to move these items, and you do not have a family member able to help you with this, please let us know before work starts, and we will do this for you.
