We would always suggest that tenants take reasonable steps to deal with the situation initially (where possible). As a tenant you are responsible for your actions and the actions of your family, anyone living with you, and your family's visitors.
Be considerate to your neighbours and if they do not return this consideration, explain the problems they are causing directly to them. Some communities are not aware of what ASB is, and sometimes people are not aware that they are causing a problem to their neighbours and talking to each other may actually help the situation.
We can all expect a certain amount of noise and disturbance from others going about their normal, daily lives.

We define Anti Social Behaviour and Nuisance as "Any act wghich caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household as the perpetrator"
