We are pleased to announce our customer training plan for Autumn 2011.
We have designed our customer training programme to help our involved tenants play an active and informed role in shaping their communities and positively influencing our services. We are committed to continuously improving and developing our training programme. We have done this by means of:
- Holding training reviews and workshops with our customers
- Using feedback and comments from our customers training evaluation forms
- Asking our Tenant Inspectors, Area Panel members and Tenants and Resident groups to assess their skills and knowledge by completing a training needs analysis
- Working with a range of specialist training providers to ensure our high quality training reflects the best value for money
We know our customers have different levels of involvement and needs. We aim to meet those needs by offering a range of free training opportunities or helping with the costs of external training.
Our free in house training is run and delivered by employees of West North West homes Leeds or a specialist trainer and cover topics which are of interest to involved customers such as Tenant Inspectors or Area Panel Members.
We also provide information on upcoming courses from a range of providers including Leeds Tenants Federation, Voluntary Action Leeds and the Tenant Participatory Advisory Service. Some courses from these providers may incur costs although we may be able to contribute towards these.
