Involving Tenants

How to Get Involved
There are a range of ways in which you can be involved. For more details on becoming involved please see the attached 'How to get involved leaflet, accessed from the links on the right.

Your area may have a Tenants and Residents Association in which you can become active. If there isn’t an Association and there is interest in starting one we can provide advice and practical help. Where there is no interest in forming a group you could become an Area Representative.

There are also opportunities to become involved in measuring and improving our services by becoming a member of a Sounding Board or becoming a Tenant Inspector.

If you are interested in partcipating in any of our types of involvement please completed the Getting Involved Form that you can access from the link on the right or call the Customer Involvement Team on (0113) 247 7104.  Alternatively, email wnwhl.involvement@wnwhl.org.uk

The Customer Involvement Strategy and Policy
The Strategy sets out our vision, customer expectations and key principles. It also considers what outcomes we would expect. The latter part of the Strategy defines what is meant by customer involvement, levels of involvement and what areas customers can get involved in. You can view our strategy from the right of this page.

Also accessible on the right is the Customer Involvement Policy.  This outlines our minimum statutory and regulatory obligations and those delegated to us through our Management Agreement with Leeds City Council, whilst setting the platform for providing an excellent customer involvement service.

Customer Involvement Compact (Agreement)
The Customer Involvement Compact (Agreement) sets out how our customers, by getting involved, can make a real difference to the services they receive from West North West homes Leeds and benefits for the wider community.  It sets out details of how customers can get involved and the standards and commitments agreed between WHWhL and customers.  The 2010 Compact is an update of the 2008 Customer Involvement Agreement.
