Some of your local council numbers are changing for the better. Existing 0845 and 0113 numbers for key services have now been replaced by a range of new, memorable 0113 numbers.
Leeds City Council have simplified their telephone system to make life easier for everyone. Most of their key service numbers now begin 0113 222 44 followed by the last two digits of the service you require.
Adult Social Care - 0113 222 4401
Anti-Social Behaviour - 0113 222 4402
Children and Young People Social Care - 0113 222 4403
Council Tax and Benefits - 0113 222 4404
including council tax benefits, housing benefits, benefits fraud, free school meals and school clothing vouchers
Customer Relations - 0113 2224405
customer feedback, compliments and complaints
Environmental Services - 0113 222 4406
including refuse collection, recycling,domestic and industrial noise,pest control, grass cutting and graffiti removal
Highways - 0113 222 4407
including street lighting and street cleaning
Registrars - 0113 222 4408
including births, deaths, marriages and ceremonies
Planning - 0113 222 4409
Minicom - 0113 2224410
including highways, benefits, civic switch board, choice based letting
These numbers will replace the previous numbers used to call these services. All other numbers will remain the same.
