If you are struggling to pay your rent you should contact us immediately on 0800 915 1113 to receive housing and welfare benefit advice and, or, negotiate a realistic repayment plan. We may be able to refer you for independent debt advice through our relationship with the Citizens Advice Bureau.

If you ignore your debt problems you could end up losing your home, so please contact us for assistance or use the information provided in the Money Worries leaflet which you can access from the link on the right. The Citizens Advice Bureau offer young people advice on how to manage their money. You can find out how they have helped by clicking the link on the right.

Housing Benefit

Housing Benefit may help towards paying your rent. It does not matter if you are in work, unemployment or retired, or whether you receive other benefits. You can still make a claim and may get some help.

HomeSave Plus is a Mortgage Rescue Scheme run by the Golden Triangle Partnership, which can help you if you are experiencing financial difficulty with your mortgage and secured loan payments. The Scheme provides financial assistance to those at risk of repossession and supports homeownership and is available in the districts of Harrogate, York and some areas of North Leeds.
