The safety of our customers is a key priority for us. We have a number of key policies in place to ensure your home is safe to live in.
Gas servicing/access:
Gas servicing and maintenance continues to be a high priority service for West North West homes Leeds and is a Statutory Legal Obligation. If your home has gas installed, we must gain access to complete an annual service.

Electrical safety in the home:
Electrical appliances, plugs and cables that are old or poorly wired can be a real danger. Just because there’s no flame, doesn’t mean there’s no fire risk. Find out what to check for to ensure your appliances don’t put you, your family or housemates at risk from fire at www.direct.gov.uk
Fire safety:
In a house fire, you might think that the smoke would wake you and give you and your family time to escape. But after just two or three breaths of toxic smoke, you’re unconscious. Your lungs fill up and you can’t breathe. Just like drowning.
You can get free advice from your local Fire and Rescue Service so, if a fire does break out, you and others can get out quickly and safely. Make sure you have a smoke alarm fitted. Contact your local fire service for a free fire alarm.
